General stuff. And Vinni Puh!

First things first.

Sometimes someone on the Flist can present you with the greatest thing you've seen in a long time. And sometimes they can make you smile when smiles have been few and far between.

Thanks, bonny_kathryn for the following.

Yes, it's Vinni Puh, the Soviet cartoon version of Winnie the Pooh. I like it way more than Disney. And it predates that version.

There are some un-subtitled others on YouTube. Eeyore is adorable.

And now, crazedturkey has set me an extremely easy meme.

My ten favourite songs beginning with the letter "E"

Let me just check with Media Player:

1. Everything by Alanis Morisette.
2. Everybody Calls Me Lonely by The Superjesus.
3. Empire by the Choirboys.
4. Erin Shore, my version is by The Corrs, naturally.
5. Everywhere You Go, by Taxiride.
6. Elevation by U2.
7. Enough to Know, by The Superjesus.
8. Everybody's Fool, by Evanescence.
9. Even If by the Corrs.
10. Eight Day a Week, by the Beatles.

And yes. I did get all that LorF finished. Kate's story is over. Now for Miranda (and Andy).

Comment for a letter of your own!

Tehee! I know this! Except in my world they speak in Estonian.

Kes hommikuti külas käib, see asjatult ei longi!
Sa seda tead taram - tara, et selleks hommik ongi.

We (as in my sister and I) bought it on tape and ah... childhood! I think there are three cartoons like this. Possibly. One of them is Eeyores birthday. And I can't remember what the third one is... Oh. Where Pooh uses balloons to try and get honey.

This always seemed to me the superior version to Disney's. Then again, I grew up with it so what do I know.

And I would like a letter. And... never mind the missing comment. I just had some carrot-hazelnut cake, so my brain wasn't working properly on writing matters. (:

That was so cool! I agree that it's better than Disney's version. Piglet is adorable, with his little blue pants. And the moral: Don't visit with someone for too long. And if you're a host, don't be afraid to kick your guests out onto the street once they get annoying.
