Following my little bout of downtime, my computer then decided it didn't want to live anymore, and consequently spent a little time out of commission. But it's had it's hard drive wiped, and the desktop neat as neat can be and nothing installed, everything seems to be running smoothly with Firefox. So... here I am.
I have to check with my Dad on reinstalling MSN. He doesn't like it, so he might say no. If so, ya'll will have to wait for a fortnight until I gets me my laptop to install whatever I damn well please.
I see that there is a great big bout of LorF for me to read. Rest assured that I will get onto it as soon as I can. I was already behind on two stories, so it's time for me to put in the hard slog.
My apologies to the people of Survivor: Herder Isle at Obernewtyn.net too. I hope Evelina was evicted in a kind way, free of malice.
It appears from the cursory sweep of my flist last night that
And a big well done to those little troopers soldiering on with their 15 Minute Ficlets. I might sign up when I have my laptop.
As for yours truly, I now work a little more. Unfortunately, I do not correspondingly sleep a little more!!! I've had no computer, so the writing has taken a dive, but I've been deeply inspired in the down time.
I've missed everyone muchly and am glad to be back.
So... fill me in. What's up? How is everyone? What are you all up to? What's the gossip? I must know all!!!
Everyone have a pony, on me...
Edit: And if there's anything, (other than LorF) that you have drawn, written, photographed or whatever, PIMP AWAY!!! I don't want to miss out on the talent!

Good to see you back, oh evil twin of mine. :D And you're getting a laptop of your very own? Finally!
Alas, as far as I can recall, Evelina was beaten to a bloody pulp with coconut husks and then tossed into the waves. Nobody was sure if she was actually dead at the time.
Well, isn't this a nice birthday present for me! :D
Silly puta! I hope you whapped it good and proper!
*hugs and gives timtams*
ahem... Good to have you back my peachy tintinnabulation of meritorious sciatica :D
If you wanted to then the new Internet Explorer (7.0) is actually pretty secure and safe to use - for a change - OMG!. I still prefer the open-source-ness, the look and add-ons of firefox however. (Add-ons are nifty extra little programs that enhance firefox, for example when I hover my mouse over a link a little speech box with a little display of the destination page pops up.) ^o^
I can also hold down alt and then click any word, name, date, text symbol, ect anywhere on the page for another lil speech box with a definition, descripton, hitory, alternative spelling etc of it - this is soooo useful when writing in a form (like this comment box) to quickly check my spelling/facts.
The best way to protect your computer from any more ickiness would be to run a linux as your operating system. Ubuntu linux can be downloaded free and then run as a virtual PC from a CD in your cd drive. This means you don't have to install it and you can keep your windows OS, computer and everything on it exactly the same without endangering anything on it while you try linux out. + if the 700mb download is too much they can send you a free CD! Wow.
Sorry if you know all or any of this already as I know you're already quite puta savvy....for a girl ^o-, but i is just trying to help.
Anyways next time you see or are in a show or ANYTHING invite me, it would be cool to catch up! ^__^
some pimping for you
