The 10 Point Plan is complete!

I have written well over 5000 words, on 8 different stories. It wasn't at all difficult, in the end!!! I did it pretty quick and had a really good time!!!

On top of that, I even wrote a Journal entry for my alter-ego, the terribly decorous Miss Wood, over at somersetsojourn.

Because it was fun, I selected 50 words, and EXACTLY 50 words from each of the 10 groups of 500. It was difficult to select 50 words that I was willing to show the world, but here they are.

I've cut out names, so points to anyone who can guess what stories they might be from. There are 4 LorFs in there, guys, and I'm sure you'll recognise at least one for what it is.

…like the uniform of a Nazi Gestapo officer. It was a little too big, and she had modified it a little, rolling up legs and sleeves, but a Gestapo uniform it was. Obviously, she wasn’t wearing the hat, of course. But there were two small pistols clipped to her belt.

I waited for them to order before I did, but it didn’t take them long. He ordered for them both, calling the waiter to them. Without even looking at the menu, he ordered in fluent Italian. ______ ______ was impressed. Both eyes opened wider, and though they were under the...

‘Excuse me,’ _____ said, loudly and clearly, in case she were dumb as well as insane.
‘Yes?’ she asked, in the same clear, articulated tone.
_____ sighed. ‘I’m lost. Can you help me get to the Administrative Section?’
She snorted. ‘Yah.’
He stared at her. ‘So… will you?’
‘Nah,’ she…

I felt bile rise up in my throat as I shut my eyes. I’m not a prude by any means, but for the love of all that’s holy, some things are sick at any time, and the man was older than sliced bread.
______ handed the photos back to ______.

My boots were sitting at the bottom of the bed, and my eye patch was on the little side table by the bed. I scratched a little at my scarring before putting my patch back on, and then slipping on my boots. Where was my gun belt?
I walked out…

…the Princess resumed her seat, I hauled myself out of the vat. There were roars of laughter as, mugging “comically” I shook the slime off my soggy hat. The bells tinkled pathetically, too clogged up with the foul stuff to sound as loudly as normal. Thank heaven for small mercies!

…three of them remained. A tall, pale woman sat on the ground, leaning against the stone wall of the palace. She was sniffling, tears running down her face as she tried desperately not to cry. A child sat beside her. He patted her hair, but stared absently towards the bog.

______ put a hand on the groom’s shoulder. ‘I think you’ll find the hard part will not be issues of decorum,’ he said.
______ looked up at him. ‘What will it be?’
As the gong sounded, ______ simply patted the young man sympathetically. ‘A man must meet his challenges, ______…

…off my hat and discarded it on the pavement. I stopped to ruffle up my hair, giving it a lighter, thicker appearance. I turned up the bottoms of my trousers, took off my jacket and tied it around my shoulders, in the manner of the average upwardly mobile young go-getter.

Where’s he going with this? Is it a trick question?
‘Um…’ I’m so busy trying to second guess the shrink, it takes me a moment to actually consider the honest answer. ‘No…’ I say. ‘It didn’t feel crazy. It didn’t feel like before, when I used to lose control. And…

So... now what do I do?

You are... made of awesome. Seriously. Well done.

As far as what to do now... well, since you found it so easy, you could do it all over again, but with 1000 words?

I can't really guess any of them; except that the eyepatch one would seem to be Kate Lorf. Er... the first one might be Dido Darke?

Yay! I'm made of awesome!!!

And hmmm... 1000 words is a good idea. Seems a lot though! Maybe I should wuss out and do 750!!!

You got Kate LorF right, but afraid the first one is not Dido Darke. There are two Dido's in there (I chose her for my free 500 words), though.

It's amazing how much you can actually tell about a person's writing in 50 words, or more to the point 10 lots of 50, but anyways they're really good. *Wants more* Speaking of which did you ever get my E-mail about LorF? I may not have sent it properly. I can't really remember, it was a while ago, and I think it was late. Anyways if the problem is simply that you haven't got around to it kindly ignore me, I don't mind :P
