Blah blah blah

Two exams down. One to go.

Yesterday, I checked my Library Record, just to make extra doubly sure I had returned everything. Two books on there. I DIDN'T BORROW THEM!!! One of them is an eighteenth century American novel, the other the biography of a woman I've never even heard of! And you would not BELIEVE the stuff you have to do to get them removed.

This is SO not my fault! And all half an hour before my exam too, cos that was stress I needed. Fortunately, I finally got to speak to someone in a posistion of authority, who said it would take at least a week to go through the procedure for removing this stuff. She did put a note on my record about it, though. My records have to be clear by Sunday, or I don't graduate, so now I have a note there to say that when the Graduations Office asks who has a clear record, I get included.

But... Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...

My US Politics Exam went well though. There was a hairy moment when I forgot how many Supreme Court Justices there are, but I remembered, so that was okay. One left, next Thursday, yay!!!

My NaNoWriMo is just over 29 000 words! Well over halfway and it's just write write write!

Also, note for Draft 5: Kalisa. You're cut.

Hehe - oh, Kayt, if you knew how many times someone comes into the library and looks at you with big innocent eyes, claiming they never borrowed those books and they'd never heard of them before in their entire lives...! Then there's the whole issue of people who let their friends borrow on their card and whose friends then decide to hang onto the books forever or something.

Only one exam left! Time to dance.

Oh I admit, many people probably abuse the system.

But I DIDN'T!!! I think it was my absolute hysterical panic attack and tears that convinced her I was genuine.

Oh yes - the hysterical panic attack works every time.

It's ok, CIT claimed I hadn't returned a book that I know I did, I ran out of class and took it back as soon as I finished the assignment it was for! So long as you are getting it fixed it's all good.

If you keep cutting people like that, I'm going to have to call you Homer...

Congrats on finishing two exams! I'm the same - two down, one to go. My last one's on Jane Austen. Yours isn't on JA as well, by any chance? I know you're doing a course on her writing too. :)

Yay!! Only one exam left! :D
Grr, I had something similar happen at school last year- some random text book appeared on my account! It took me ages to get it cleared..they even tried to bll me for it! Why they didn't realise that a year 10 would have no use for a year 12 PE text book, I do not know..
