I've got yesterdays NaNoWriMo words out of the way:
| |
15,006 / 50,000 (30.0%) |
So now I don't have to worry about that, and I can get on with worrying about the essay. I'll finish that, hopefully pretty quickly, and then I can worry about TODAY'S NaNo words.
The idiot who begins NaNo when she knows she's going overseas does so at her own peril.
Good luck to my fellow NaNoers, Exam-doers and anyone else who needs it. I'll be back later with more updates, I expect.
So:
12:07pm: Zero words, but wrote up a Plan yesterday. A Plan is a positive miracle for me.
12:48pm: I didn't actually start straight away, cos I got distracted. But I've written a paragraph! Look:

370 / 1,200 (30.8%) |
All: Oh God. The word counter will dominate her existence, now she has discovered it.
Kayt: *sighs dreamily* Yeah...
1:28:

824 / 1,200 (68.7%) |
Go me!
2:28: Right. No progress, because I had lunch. Then I had to spend 20 minutes taking the washing off the line (folding it all up neatly for some incomprehensible reason), because my Grandmother has some kind of weird Old Woman obsession with it. It's 2:00, and it's fucking hot and I AM BUSY!!! The Maternal apologised for getting me to help (for help, read DO IT) but we must appease the Grandmother, I suppose. All the same. Not. Happy.
2:47: 3 paragraphs. I have yet to do my intro and conclusion. This is a problem, on account of:
| |
1,135 / 1,200 (94.6%) |
Guess it makes a change to have too MUCH to say, instead of too little!!!
2:59:
|
Oh. And I don't have a conclusion. There's a 10% margin. So I can afford to have a 118 word conclusion. Well, we'll see what happens.
3:05: 1 308 words. Within the 10% I shall read over it later. Now for some LorFing. I have 3000 words to do. And I do believe I'll sign onto MSN. Yay! Company!!!

Accordingly, I'm writing a tale of war and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. It's kinda hard to explain...
Thanks for your comment though. I shall indeed rock on!!!
